SMB Invitational Orlando, Day 2 Recap

We had a great second day here at SMBI yesterday. We kicked it off with manufacturer breakfasts hosted by Dell and HP, where our resellers got the chance to spend some more time with our vendors. From there we moved into our general session, which was also broadcast live on the Internet for our partners who were unable to attend in-person. We heard from our keynote speaker Tiffani Bova, and then got to see presentations from Symantec, VMWare, and Cisco, as well as from IM’s Cloud Services Division. Then we wrapped it up with a sales forum and a little bit of live Q&A.

After lunch, our guests spent some time in manufacturer breakout sessions with HP and Cisco. Resellers also got the opportunity to attend a special speed partnering session.  Our resellers got comfortable while the manufacturers switched tables every few minutes, speed dating style! We also hosted a Q&A with Tiffani Bova, as well as a repeat session on the value of SMB at Ingram Micro for those unable to attend the first session.

After the afternoon technology workshops with Microsoft OEM, Symantec, and Cisco, our SMBA members got to attend an exclusive social engagement. Then it was time for all our resellers to hit the town for dinner; everyone headed out to Universal’s City Walk for a little bit of fun! Our SMBA members were also treated to an exclusive members-only dinner.

Our final day is getting into full swing, so check back for a recap of day 3 and for photos of days 2 and 3!
